Second Story is looking for pantry pack donations for families in Northern Virginia! Families struggling with hunger or food insecurity often can’t afford the staples that we have stocked at home. Did you know that the Capital Area Food Bank estimates that we have 74,000 food insecure residents in Fairfax County?
In response to the increased need created by the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re looking to provide support to families in need by distributing food across our sites.
Each pantry pack* should contain:
- Bag of rice
- Maseca flour
- Dried beans
- Vegetable/canola oil
*Three hours of community service will be given for each pantry pack
