Our region has been hit hard recently. Job loss, fear, and safety threats pervade. The neighborhoods we serve have been hit the hardest. And when things feel unstable, young people in crisis feel it the most. They need and deserve safety, stability, support, community, and hope.
Let’s come together on October 22 to be that force of stability and hold our youth steady. By attending our Beacon of Hope Breakfast and supporting Second Story, you can take action to ensure our programs remain open for local youth experiencing homelessness or another crisis and families in underserved communities. Second Story offers these local youth and families a chance to achieve safety and stability, transcend disparities, and access support and opportunities to thrive. As a result, all have the opportunity to reach their full potential and help our communities prosper. Stand with us and make a difference in your community.

This is our only fundraising event of the year.
Your time is valuable, so we host just one fundraising event each year. Our Beacon of Hope Breakfast is a great opportunity to join your fellow neighbors in ensuring our programs are available for those who need us. Funds raised go directly to our programs. Join us for Second Story’s Beacon of Hope Breakfast Fundraiser on October 22, 2025 from 8:00 to 9:00 AM ET with doors opening and registration starting at 7:30 AM at Westwood Country Club in Vienna, Virginia.
